Well, since getting it home the K has had a slow puncture on the rear.
Now that the Bike is nearing completion it was time to get it inspected / fixed or replaced so I went into Liverpool and found a Motorbike Tyre place.

Turns out that the Bike had sat for 10 years and the Tyres were dated 2007 and 2008 – so Lin quickly diagnosed as knackered through the rubber being hardened. Turns out they oxidise over time so decided to replace both…
On the basis that you live on your Tyres and brakes on an old Bike a worthwhile investment I think.. New ones order Avon Roadmaster MkII – same as those on the Bike…
World of difference… Bike rolls along nicely now and even made it outside for a quick ride and photo.
While I was at it… I could hear a blow and diagnosed the manifold… yep.
Pinholes so replacement sought… you can clearly see in pictures above, common on UK bikes that have sat in the cold and damp for some years… replacements are cheap though and while at it… studs and nuts should be replaced.
