Well
- Hire a Van – a fairly Medium Sized Van – £90 ish for a Day.
- Buy a Couple of Tie Down Ratchet Straps – £7 from Home Bargains (but RAC badged)
- Take your Car Ramps or a bit of Wood to ride it in – see my Plastic car ramps – worked well.
- Fuel Up – set off early with Coffee
- Drive – strap down – Drive back

I watched a couple of YouTube Videos on how to strap it down safely – I chose to just steap the front down from both sides to D Rings in the floor of this Vauxhall Van…
Worked a treat – didn’t budge..
Needed a big push up the Ramps, but Mario, the seller and his daughter helped get it away.
In short it was a genuine enough thing – few bits missing, last run 10 years but hey ho, should be interesting to get it back on the road…
So it began, journey was 400 miles, but incident free…
